Software Sales Associate 

Insightrix Research started in 2001 with a simple idea: use the internet to help solve our client’s research problems. Since then, the company has evolved to become the largest market research firm in the province, with a software division which develops and sells software for the market research industry.

Insightrix is seeking a motivated and multitask-oriented individual who is flexible and works well in a team environment to fill the full-time permanent position of inside, Software Sales Associate, in the Software division located in Saskatoon. The focus will be primarily on the Insightrix Online Communities platform, a digital engagement software for Market Research and Marketing companies that provides advanced research and reporting tools to Insight Communities.

In this role you will report to the Senior Executive Innovation & Technology, and be responsible for supporting all the stages of the marketing and sales process for the software. Targeting the US market, you will work on targeted marketing campaigns incorporating print and video for the website and targeted mail outs.  You will assist on proposals, handle consultative selling and building relationships, conduct presentations and demos, develop articles and blogs, and assist with the customer on-boarding process.

Illustrative Duties:

  • Develop and execute targeted B2B marketing campaigns incorporating traditional and digital channels.
  • Develop targeted promotional marketing materials including information packages, brochures, blogs, obtaining references
  • Develop problem and solution write ups, development of website content, and use of social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter.
  • Work with the Administration Assistant on compilation of potential client databases, by sector and assist with the mail outs.
  • Assist in proposal writing and quotations.
  • Follow up on leads, handle sales inquiries and when required, conduct product demos.
  • Input leads into the data base.
  • Follow up with prospects.
  • Produce monthly reports on sales funnel metrics, close ratios and SEO standings.
  • Participate in the QA process for new software enhancements, including documentation.
  • Regular newsletter to clients and potential clients on new software enhancements and roll outs.
  • Assist with customer onboarding.
  • Assist new clients with the on boarding process including set up phase and gathering customer branding requirements.


Qualification Highlights:

  • Degree or Certificate in Business, with preference in Marketing.
  • Sales experience marketing software and/or professional services an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with particular emphasis on Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines with occasional periods of minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in website content management systems an asset (WordPress or Drupal).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro an asset;
  • Knowledge of marketing software and applications such as HubSpot, Hootsuite, Buffer, social media analytic platforms an asset.
  • Comfortable with and enjoys working in a fast paced and results oriented environment.

Research Intern – Saskatoon

This is a great opportunity to learn from some of our experienced market researchers!  You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects including both traditional and emerging research methodologies.  The primary function of this position is supporting our researchers in all facets of a market research project including note-taking at focus groups, designing surveys, and conducting data analysis.

This is a great opportunity to start growing your market research career!

You have a university degree, likely in business, communications, social science or psychology, with a strong emphasis on research. You have exposure to the principles of market research including both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. You are an analytic thinker, with exposure to statistics and analytical methodologies. You are known for your attention to detail, the ability to see the story in the numbers, and for superior communication and writing skills.  An expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint would be considered an asset.  This position is for 40 hours per week.  Some travel is required. Must have a drivers licence.
