Ian Goodwillie, B.A. (English)
Business Development Coordinator
With a background in the arts and culture sector as well as business, Ian Goodwillie has joined Insightrix in the area of business development and as a part of the sales team. While his primary focus will be writing proposals and maintaining strong relationships with our current clients, he will also be working on marketing and growing the Insightrix brand in new markets, both in Saskatchewan and across Canada.
Ian holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Saskatchewan and a diploma in Writing for Film, Television and New Media from Vancouver Film School. He is a regular contributor to both online and print magazines on a number of topics as well as previously working for one of Western Canada’s top retail chains, McNally Robinson Booksellers, for almost five years. He started as Events Coordinator, which gave him the opportunity to work directly with Canada’s top authors and publishers, and then as General Manager of their popular Saskatoon location. This experience gave Ian both varied and practical experience in marketing, promotions and business development that he hopes to put to good use at Insightrix.
