First they were pets. Then they were family members. Now they're colleagues. At Insightrix we are taking advantage of an increasingly common phenomenon; having a dog in the workplace.
Corrin Harper, the President at Insightrix is convinced that dogs in the office are a good idea. She points to workplace stress as one of the "most serious" issues affecting productivity: "Having a dog in a workplace leads to a much more stress-free environment."
Other benefits of having a dog in the workplace include:
- Increased staff morale
- Increased camaraderie among employees
- Happier and less stressed employees result in enhanced job performance
The Chief Morale Officer (CMO) at Insightrix was recently profiled by the Saskatoon StarPhoenix and Regina LeaderPost.
